Danish Robotics Professors and cluster representatives are visiting the US for the second time

After a fruitful delegation to Boston, visiting MIT and Northeastern last year, resulting in cross Atlantic collaboration involving LEGO and Universal Robots, the Danish robotics delegation is now coming to California.
The Danish delegation represents one of Europe’s strongest and most internationally connected robotics ecosystems, bringing together leading researchers, innovation specialists, and representatives from academia, industry, and the national robotics cluster. The delegation’s expertise spans robotics, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, advanced manufacturing, digital twins, automation, and entrepreneurship, creating unique opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
Through engagement with this group, host universities and companies can strengthen connections to European research, industrial and innovation networks, explore future joint collaboration, and develop pathways for researcher, PhD, and student exchange, as well as industrial collaborations. The visit also provides access to an established international robotics talent pipeline and a proven platform for global collaboration through recurring educational and innovation activities.
Potential outcomes include joint research proposals, co-supervised PhDs, collaborative educational programs, technology transfer opportunities, and long-term partnerships connecting leading robotics ecosystems across North America and Europe.
The visit is a direct result of the collaboration on the world-renowned International Elite Summer School in Robotics and Entrepreneurship, where international students and researchers get a change to experience the Danish Robotics environment first hand over the course of two and a half weeks, every year in August.
