Global Innovation Network Programme (GINP) – Korea 2025

From 1–8 November 2025, a Danish delegation of distinguished professors will visit Korea as part of the Global Innovation Network Programme (GINP). The programme supports networking activities between Danish and international research and innovation actors.

The delegation visit is part of two Global Innovation Network (GINP) projects funded by the Danish Agency of Higher Education and Science.

R&D Interests

My research focuses on software engineering and data-science with applications in ubiquitous computing and cyber-physical systems. I have contributed with new methods for human sensing and data analytics and methods for the optimization of software qualities including performance, usability, integration, energy efficiency and privacy protection. This has among others led to important contributions for data science methods within robotics, logistics and activity recognition. My research has been published at premier venues such as ACM MobiSys, ACM Ubicomp, ACM TOSN and IEEE RAL. The results have enabled open-source projects and industrial strength research prototypes that have been commercialized.
