DGIST (Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology)
DGIST is a top research university specializing in robotics, AI, and mechatronics. Its Department of Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering hosts over ten cutting-edge labs studying autonomous systems, surgical robots, and micro-robotics. Research focuses on precision control, wearable robots, and biomimetic design. DGIST also leads innovations in surgical robotics and magnetic microbots, collaborating closely with hospitals and industries to advance human-centred robotics education and technology. During the visit, there will be a DGIST-GINP seminar providing an opportunity for brief research presentations and open discussions to explore potential areas of collaboration.
